If pesticide residue is your concern: Salt water washing is recommended by many experts.
However, it’s important to note that even if we wash the outer skin, pesticides sprayed on the fruit can still penetrate beneath the skin. Switching to organic fruits or sourcing from farmers who consciously grow their produce is a better choice.
Avoid harmful chemicals: Using chemical cleaners that flooded the market during COVID-19 is not recommended, as they introduce additional chemicals to the fruit.
